It took 6 months to rid me of the migraines that I had endured for almost 4 years, and 2 years to resolve the long standing sciatic issues; this original trauma to this day requires a consistent care and maintenance; with massage, chiropractic , and yoga being the primary tools I use to keep functional and out of pain. The distance on this road to the recovery I have achieved so far has been long and educational! My early experience with Chiropractic and Massage Therapies did solidly set the stage for my career today, and my continued experiences with the wide world of healing modalities reinforce my commitment to providing this work. I have personally experienced the benefits from Massage and I truly believe in the efficacy of what I do. I Graduated from The American Institute of Massage Therapy (AIMT) (Kailua, Hawaii) in 1994. Since then I have continued to gather techniques for healing; Studying Sports massage with Myk Hungerford at the AIMT ( Kailua, Hi), Geriatric massage with Deitrich Miesler (the founder of Day Break Geriatric Massage Project of Guerneville, CA.), and gaining a solid background in numerous spa techniques and Zero Balance in Telluride, Co where I spent two years studying, and working with "The Spa At The Peaks", I am also grateful to have had the opportunity to study Abdominal massage with Marty Ryan in Seattle, and many many more… I have benefited from the knowledge of so many teachers! In addition to my formal trainings I have had the honor of working with and learning from some of my clients throughout the duration their pregnancies and even attending a birth. Since 1994, my clients have afforded me many valuable hours of hands-on experience treating their auto, work, sport and life related traumas and injuries. In many ways, they are truly my best teachers, I am so grateful to them all.
